THE ELITE ASTROGRAPHS FOR THE REST OF US
Designed with the discerning astrophotographer in mind, Sky-Watcher’s ALL NEW top-of-the-line Esprit EDX refractors deliver the kind of imaging performance one would expect from telescopes costing thousands of dollars more. With the Esprit’s three-element, air-spaced objective lens design, false color is virtually eliminated, yielding exceptional contrast and sharpness. Each element is fully multi-coated with Sky-Watcher’s proprietary Metallic High-Transmission Coatings™ (MHTC)™, producing a transmission rate that rivals any refractor on the market.
In addition to superb optics, all Esprits feature exclusive dual-speed, Helinear track focusers, which provide smooth, rock-solid focusing with zero image shift. Using a Camera Angle Adjuster which is found on the end of the focuser drawtube and allows for orientation of your camera or eyepieces without needing to rotate the entire focuser. The Esprit EDX 100, 120, and 150 also come stock with rotatable focusers.
All Sky-Watcher Esprit EDX refractors come with mounting rings, dovetail plate, camera adapter, and foam-lined hard case.
Unsurpassed Performance
Esprit EDXs use three-element air-spaced optics to deliver images equal to scopes costing thousands of dollars more.
Award-winning Optics
All Sky-Watcher Esprit EDXs use laboratory matched lens assemblies, including extra-low dispersion elements, for unrivaled clarity and color correction.
Exclusive Linear-track Focuser
Sky-Watcher’s exclusive focuser design combines a rock-solid platform with zero image shift.
