The refractor gathers more light, and offers more clear and detailed images, suitable for deep sky photography and observation, for galaxies, nebulae, star clusters and even some fainter deep sky objects, due to the higher limiting magnitude.
2. The gear ratio of the 2.5-inch toothed focuser is 1:10, easy to achieve accurate focus. The dual-speed focuser offers fast and fine focusing by a set of co-axial knobs.
3. The length of the dovetail is 300mm, longer than the length of most dovetails. It maintains the balance to the greatest extent and more convenient for adjustment.
4. The entire tube rings have 26 screw holes, compatible with more equipment installations, like Smart WIFI device, guide scope, astronomy camera etc., meeting various needs of installations.
FPL-51 Triplet Apochromatic Lens Structure
The SV550 122mm adopts a FPL-51 triplet apochromatic lens structure which contains one piece of ED glass. The triplet lens provides better correction of aberration and significantly reduces chromatic aberration and enhance the clarity and sharpness.
R&P Dual Speed Focuser
The gear ratio of the dual speed 2.5-inch toothed focuser is 1: 10, which makes it easy to achieve accurate focus. The dual speed focuser can provide two focusing speeds by using a set of co-axial knobs, for fast focusing and fine focusing.

Compatible With 2-inch Interface & M63*1 Threads
The SV550 refractor is compatible with 2-inch and M63*1 accessories. The front is a 2-inch adapter for connecting a camera or 2-inch accessories; Rotating off the adapter, here threaded the M63*1 threads, for connecting the SV209 field flattener or other M63*1 accessories.
Lock Screw--Tighten The Lock To Prevent Focus Issue
The entire tube rings have 26 screw holes + a mounting screw handle. Such tube rings with so many screw holes can be compatible with more equipment installations, like Smart WIFI device, guide scope, astronomy camera etc., meeting various needs of installations.
