Do you have a store?
We currently do not have a showroom at this time and have an online presence. We do have a curb-side pickup option upon checkout. Curb-side pickup is available at our 1 Rosetta Street location in Georgetown, Ontario.
Are you open?
We're open for business and shipping as usual.
Please Note: Delivery times can vary from posted dates. UPS/FedEx will generally provide faster delivery. Canada Post usually experiences serious delays routing through the Mississauga hub and out from the Toronto area during the Christmas-time rush.
What are your store hours?
We are open Mondays to Fridays from 10AM to 5PM EST and Saturdays from 10AM to 3PM EST. Holidays may affect our business hours. Other closures will be posted on the website.
How do I create an account with your store?
There is no field to enter my province in the shipping address when I order a product, what do I do?

What does it mean when the item is "On Back Order"?
A back order is an order for the goods that cannot be filled at the current time due to a lack of available on-site inventory. The item may be available in the manufacturer's available inventory, or the supplier may need to still manufacture more of the product. Back ordered items can be ordered on our website to ensure your place in line and reserve the product in future shipments.
The item I want to buy is "On Back Order", when can you get it in stock?
We regularly update our website to make inventory available as soon as we receive shipments from our suppliers. The best way to be notified when an item is in stock again is to sign up using the "Out of Stock!" Email notification section of the out of stock product's page.
Why is my credit card, debit card or PayPal account charged when the item is back ordered?
Some items are very popular and sell out extremely quickly. For this reason, we allow customers to reserve these items by placing a Back Order. When you place an order for a back-ordered item, we charge the full cost of the item(s) just as we process payments for in-stock items. Payment guarantees your place in line, allowing you to receive the item at the earliest possible date. You can cancel your backordered item any time before it ships for a full refund.
When can I get my purchase that is currently Back Ordered?
We cannot guarantee a specific ship date as product availability is determined by the manufacturers. We will ship back ordered items as soon as we receive them in our warehouse. Orders are shipped on a first ordered first served basis. You can check product expected arrival dates with us by emailing us at email@example.com.
2020 through 2022 have seen massive impacts to the supply chains and transportation logistics around the world that have made it difficult and unpredictable for manufacturers, suppliers and retailers to have a good supply of stock and to predict when stock will be available.
If I order multiple items and some are back-ordered, will the in-stock items ship immediately?
Not generally. In-stock Items ordered along with back ordered items will normally be held until all items can be shipped together. In some cases we may elect to send a partial shipment and follow up later with back-ordered items. If you would like in-stock items to ship immediately, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or in chat.
Can I hold or reserve an item?
Due to high demand and limited stock, we can only reserve your item availability for 24 hours. Please contact us for these requests. Beyond that, you will need to place an order online at telescopescanada.ca
How can I cancel my order?
You can call us, chat with us or email us at email@example.com to process a cancellation of your order. Refunds generally take 2-4 business days for credit card issuers to process the refunds. PayPal is frequently immediate.

When will my store pickup order be ready?
We will notify you via email once your order is ready. The email will contain contact instructions and our pickup address. Curbside pickup is scheduled by appointment only.
Can you give me a discount?
As per our policies and agreements with manufacturers, we are not able to discount products below manufacturer-specified pricing. In general we will already have prices set to the minimum price allowed by manufacturers.
SHIPPING AND OTHER CHARGES
How much does it cost to ship to my home address?
We provide several shipping options upon checkout based on the contents of the order and the customer location. The best way to determine shipping costs is to add the item to your cart, click Check Out, and enter your shipping address details. The store will then present you with various shipping options with costs and delivery time estimates. There is no commitment to purchase when viewing shipping rates.
Do I have to pay for customs/duties?
Any item mailed outside of Canada may be subject to the custom duties and taxes levied by the recipient's government. This is the responsibility of the buyer to be aware of and pay the amount based on your home country's import regulation and product's country of origin. Telescopes Canada does not charge custom duties and fees at the time of sale.
Is My Purchase Shipment Insured?
Yes, we purchase insurance for all shipments. Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any concerns about your shipment.
What is Affirm?
This payment method lets you finance large purchases in installments. Just choose Affirm on the payment method screen while checking out.
Am I eligible for Affirm purchases?
As part of signing up for Affirm, you will submit an online application to pre-qualify and determine your spending limit and interest rates. The "Prequalify Now" link can be found when you view your cart and it is located under the Subtotal. Prequalifying shows you a preview of how much you could spend if you were to purchase using a Affirm payment plan.
Why don't I see Affirm as a payment option at checkout?
The Affirm option will only show if your cart contains an order for a total value that Affirm works with. If it's a small purchase or a very large one, Affirm may not offer a payment plan for this amount.
When is my Affirm payment due?

Our warranty service varies based on manufacturer, location and product. If our listing does not specify a warranty period, please check the following link to the manufacturer's product warranty:
Please note that North American manufacturers will not pay shipping costs for warranty repairs and returns outside of North America. The customer will need to cover the cost of shipping to the manufacturer in these instances. In some cases warranties may not be uphelp for customers outside of North America.
Shipping for warranty repairs and returns in Canada and the USA for North American manufacturers will be paid by the manufacturers in most cases.
