The 3" SharpStar MPCC 0.85x Coma Corrector and Reducer is designed for full-frame imaging with f/3-f/6, 8"-32" Newtonian reflectors.
The Sharpstar 0.85x MPCC Coma Corrector is both a Corrector and Focal reducer designed for full frame imaging with f/3 to f/6 Newtonian Reflecting Telescopes with apertures of 8" to 32".
It provides outstanding performance for fast wide field imaging and features edge of field flat field performance together with very good colour correction. Use of this Coma Corrector/Reducer can transform your Newtonian into a very fast optical system ideal for wide field deep sky imaging.
The Sharpstar 0.85x MPCC features a front side M82x1mm Male thread to connect directly to SharpStar's new 3" Focuser or any other instrument featuring the same thread. Camera side there is an M76x1mm Male thread plus an M68x1mm Female thread and an M54x0.75mm thread both are optimized for 55mm back focus distance. SharpStar's dual use M54 to M48 Adaptor can also be used.
