Highlights

  • Maksutov-Cassegrain optical design
  • Primary and secondary mirrors feature proprietary Radiant Aluminum Quartz™ (RAQ™) coatings
  • Corrector plate featuring Metallic High-Transmission Coatings (MHTC) virtually eliminates chromatic aberrations
  • 180mm aperture, 2700mm focal length
  • Aluminum tube coated with glossy, black diamond metal-flake finish
  • Included accessories: a 2-inch 28mm eyepiece, a 9x50 finder scope, and a 2-inch diagonal

The Sky-Watcher Skymax Maksutov-Cassegrains are the ultimate take-anywhere telescopes. Despite their small dimensions they pack a powerful punch. Their high-resolution, diffraction-limited optical systems are multi-coated to maximize contrast and image sharpness.

Note: This is the optical tube only and requires a mount or tripod. It does not include a 2" to 1.25" eyepiece adapter. If required, an Antares MDA is a good choice.
