The Askar 60F is an OTA with an aperture of 60 mm, a focal length of 408mm, and a native focal ratio of F6.8, designed for astronomy enthusiasts who prioritize portability and high image quality.
The Askar 60F features a quadruplet optical lens design (three front elements and one rear element), including one piece of ED glass, which can effectively reduce chromatic aberration. The Askar 60F supports 44mm full-frame imaging with great performance of the surrounding star points.

With its built-in field flattener, the Askar 60F eliminates the need for an additional flattener and complex back-focus calculations. Simply attach your camera, achieve focus, and you’re ready to capture images, making astrophotography simpler and more enjoyable.

The Askar 60F OTA weighs only 2.5kg, and the gross weight is 3kg (including the tube rings and dovetail plate). It is compact and lightweight, making it easy to carry for observing or astrophotography—wherever your exploration takes you.
The Askar 60F is designed for both visual observation and photography. It comes with a photographic extension tube featuring a built-in 2" filter thread and has M48×0.75 and M54×0.75 adapters, making it compatible with DSLRs and astronomical cameras for quick connection and instant shooting.

The mechanical design of the Askar 60F minimizes hidden usage costs and ensures a smooth experience.
The Askar 60F features a retractable dew shield, further reducing overall length and enhancing portability. The inside of the tube is pasted with matting felt to eliminate stray light better, while the exterior sports a sleek blue-and-white color scheme with high-quality CNC machining and paint finish.
On the handle bar of Askar 60F, it has a finder base slot. Besides, there are two finder bases on both sides of the focuser, which not only eliminates the need for disassembling when changing the position of the finder scope but also provides additional mounting positions for other astronomical accessories.
In terms of the focuser, the Askar 60F is equipped with a dual-speed R&P 2.4-inch rigid focuser, offering 1:10 fine-tuning. The fine adjustment knob has an anti-slip cover, and the rear features a 360° scale rotator for precise angle adjustment.
The dovetail plate is a 230mm standard Vixen-style plate, with 1/4" and 3/8" screw holes, allowing direct connection to a tripod.
Offering professional-grade performance at an entry-level price, the Askar 60F is your ideal companion for exploring the cosmos and capturing nature’s beauty. Travel light, discover more—start your journey with Askar 60F!
