Baader Q-Turret Eyepiece Set (eyepiece revolver, 4x Classic Ortho, 1x Q-Barlow 2.25x) - 2957000

Bought this for a light weight grab and go setup using a long focus refractor. With the turret holding 4 eyepieces there is no need to carry out an eyepiece case. The Baader Classic Orthos are very light, sharp and contrasty and the whole set weighs about the same as one bigish wide field eyepiece. The down side of these eyepieces are the narrow field of view and short eye relief, although I find the eye shields good when observing from my light polluted backyard. The turret works quite well although it is made of very light plastic and I don't think it is very strong. A word of warning, the turret requires an extra 35-40mm of focuser infocus and so is not compatible with all scopes. Over all I am pleased with this set.
