12V DC 2.1 x 5.5mm Inline Dimmer Switch

This 12VDC 2.1mm 5.5mm inline dimmer switch allows you to control the voltage supplied to 12V accessories.  It will turn off the accessory if turned all the way down.

This can be useful for dimming EL panels that aren't otherwise controllable for brightness output, and can solve banding issues by replacing dimmers that inject noise into the panels.  We have seen this issue with Spike-A-Flat panels among others and use this instead of the panel's included dimmer, which can be removed from the power line.  Other dimmers may not allow removing the dimmer but could possibly benefit from this switch if 100% power through the included dimmer does not result in banding but reduced power does.
