SeeStar S50 Smart All-In-One APO Telescope - SEESTAR-S50

I have used the Seestar S50 a couple of times now to photograph sunspots and find that the pictures are very clear and the sunspots show up very well. There is a learning curve to getting the telescope set up but once you have mastered this, it is a breeze to use. Looking forward to using it for the eclipse!

Compact system, Very Portable, easy setup. Many built in features unfortunately all cloudy sky’s since I received it 20 days ago so cannot speak on that aspect. Pictures from others and usability appear to be wonderful for its price.

Seestar wasn't in stock when I placed the order, but the wait wasn't long and I was kept informed on arrival and for each stage of the journey to my door. Product is exactly as advertised and very good for getting that quick astronomy fix. Should go a long way to getting my better half into astronomy, and will also be good for outreach, I think.

Nice telescope for first learning night sky.

I got it a couple of weeks ago and it is so easy to deploy. Within a few minutes, I can start taking pictures versus my full big gear which takes me about 30 mins to set up. It is the perfect scope to being on a travel to a cottage for a few days. Easy to carry and to operate. I would recommend a tablet vs a phone just based on the screen size
