5. Non-Refundable Items
The following products and fees are non-refundable:
• Gift cards and downloadable digital products.
• Shipping fees once an order has shipped.
• Clearance, open-box, or refurbished items.
• Special-order or custom-built products.
• Solar-related products such as solar filters, glasses, and telescope kits for safety reasons.
• Items damaged due to misuse or modification by the customer.
6. Restocking Fee
A 10% restocking fee applies to returns not resulting from a manufacturing defect or Telescopes Canada’s error. This fee covers inspection, handling, and administrative processing costs.
7. Refunds for Damaged or Defective Products
If you receive a defective or damaged product, contact us within 7 days of delivery. We will assess your claim and provide a replacement, repair, or full refund as appropriate. Proof of damage, such as photos or videos, may be required.
8. Cancellations and Refunds
Orders cancelled before shipment are eligible for a full refund. If an order has already shipped, the customer must return the product before the refund is processed. Shipping costs are non-refundable once the order is dispatched.
