Ask a Question About This Product

The anti-dew heater strip is used for dew prevention on the front window of ASI cooled cameras.

This  kit includes the zip-tie, anti-dew heater strip, a Y power cord splitter and two spacers.

The thickness of the anti-dew heater strip is 0.2 ~ 0.3 mm.

The “Y” power cord is designed to connect in-line with the cooler power supply for convenience.

The thickness of the spacers is 0.3 mm and 0.5 mm. They are used for aligning the camera and Electronic Filter Wheel.

ZWO recommends a minimum 12V 0.35A  DC adapter where the heating power on the strip is ~4.2 watts. You can use the same power cord to power both the fan/cooler and heater simultaneously, but make sure not to exceed recommended amount of Ampere.

How to use it?

  1. Remove the protective film on the adhesive tape
2. Put the anti-dew heater strip on the front face of the camera and make sure the black cable is in the correct position (lining up with the DC plug at the rear of the camera)

3. Tie the black cable onto the camera body with the provided zip-tieAnti-dew-step4

4. Plug in the power cord, and you're ready to go!Anti-dew-step5

Now you should be dew-free while shooting with the camera.

NOTICE: Be cautious when putting strain on the dew heater wires, the connection can be damaged with excessive force.
