The biggest differences between the ASIAIR Plus and ASIAIR Mini are:
- Smaller size and weight for the Mini
- No Ethernet port, USB 3.0 ports, SD card slot, power switch and output voltage monitoring on the Mini
As an affordable alternative to the ASIAIR Plus it will work well for deep sky imaging but is not recommended for high-speed (lucky imaging) planetary imaging with the USB 2.0 ports limiting the camera download speeds, though this can be helped by decreasing your area of interest when imaging.
