The ASI178MC features a back-illuminated CMOS image sensor with a 14bit ADC. The ASI178MC has a 1/1.8″ 6.4M pixel IMX178 sensor with SONY STARVIS and Exmor R technology.

can u use this camera taking pictures of galaxys
Yes this camera can be used for galaxies. Taking images from a dark site is best for galaxies as they tend to get washed out by light pollution in cities, and larger aperture scopes do well with them as they have more magnification (most galaxies are far and therefore quite small, apart from Andromeda).
