I got this filter for a different purpose than most: due to only a slightly reduced "window" of wavelengths, that being 420nm-680nm, my goal was to use this as an augmentation filter for adjusting slightly minus violet/CA filter characteristics for a new f/5.9 Achromat I have. Initial testing shows positive results, but more work to be done. The Baader filters are top-notch, well made, and have excellent optical throughput and coatings.
My ONLY beef with Baader in general is their machining tolerances on the 2"/48mm format filters sometimes prevents easy threading fully onto other manufacturer's accessories, or they are at the very least a bit "tricky" in that regard. Otherwise superb.
Worth the $$? I personally think so. These are excellent quality and come with nice packaging. Protects your investment nicely. Thanks!
