Antares SCT Adapter for Maksutov-Cassegrain Scopes - SCTMC

I wanted this Antares SCT adapter to put a 2 inch diagonal on my Orion 127MM Mak. I ordered the SCT adapter and received it the next day, quick shipping and excellent service. The adapter has a rubber gasket I installed the rubber ring then the adapter , fit perfectly , now I can use my 2 inch wide field EPs .

This simple adapter works as advertised, spinning solidly and cleanly onto the 44.5mm (who designed that?!) threads of the vintage 180mm Orion Mak-Cass. Now it accepts standard accessories like a Crayford focuser.

This ring allowed the conversion of the male connection on my older Orion 4 inch MCT to male SCT standard threads. This in-turn allowed accessories made for the SCT's to be used on the MCT. Quality is very good, better fit threads and anodizing than Far Eastern products.
