Telescopes Canada Return Policy
This Return Policy outlines the terms and conditions governing returns for purchases made through Telescopes Canada. Our goal is to ensure a transparent, fair, and customer-friendly process for all product returns while maintaining manufacturer standards and product integrity.

Telescopes Canada is committed to customer satisfaction. We understand that sometimes products may need to be returned or exchanged due to defects, damage, or changes in purchasing decisions. Our policy covers eligibility, timelines, non-returnable items, restocking fees, and detailed steps for initiating a return.
2. Return Eligibility
To qualify for a return or exchange, the following conditions must be met:
• The return request must be made within 30 days of delivery or pickup.
• The product must be unused, undamaged, and in the same condition as received.
• All original packaging, manuals, cables, and accessories must be included.
• The product must not be a non-returnable or special-order item (see Section 4).
3. Return Window and Product Condition
Products may be returned within 30 days of delivery or pickup. Items must be in new, unused condition with all included materials. Returned products showing signs of wear, damage, or missing accessories may be subject to a restocking fee or denied refund.
4. Non-Returnable and Final Sale Items
Certain products cannot be returned or refunded due to safety, customization, or manufacturer policies. These include:
• Gift cards or downloadable software products.
• Shipping charges paid at the time of purchase.
• Clearance, open-box, or refurbished items.
• Special-order or custom-assembled items.
• Solar filters, solar glasses, and solar telescope kits.
5. Restocking Fee
A 10% restocking fee applies to all returns that are not due to Telescopes Canada’s error or a verified manufacturing defect. Restocking fees cover inspection, testing, repackaging, and administrative processing.
6. How to Initiate a Return
Follow these steps to start your return:
1. Contact our support team at support@telescopescanada.ca with your order number and reason for return.
2. Await confirmation and authorization from our team. Unauthorized returns may be refused.
3. Once authorized, securely package the product in its original packaging to prevent shipping damage.

5. Use a trackable shipping method and retain your receipt. We recommend purchasing shipping insurance.

7. Refunds and Processing Time
If your return is approved, the refund will be processed to your original payment method within 5–7 business days after inspection. Please note that your bank or credit card company may take additional time to post the refund.
8. Return Shipping Responsibility
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to a defective product or an error made by Telescopes Canada. If desired, we can provide a discounted prepaid shipping label, and the label cost will be deducted from your refund.
9. Damaged or Defective Products
If your item arrives damaged or defective, notify us within 7 days of receipt. We will provide instructions for return or replacement. Telescopes Canada covers all shipping costs for verified defective or damaged items.
10. Refund Exclusions
Shipping fees, duties, and import taxes are non-refundable. Refunds apply only to product cost, minus restocking or return label fees if applicable.
11. Warranty Claims
Warranty coverage and procedures are determined by the product manufacturer. In most cases, the manufacturer will repair or replace defective products according to their warranty policy. Telescopes Canada will assist customers with warranty contact information and guidance.
