The ASI GT USB 3.0 cameras include all the great features and performance of the original cameras but now include an integrated 5-position ultra-quiet electronic filter wheel as well as new features such as 12V power distribution. Of course ZWO retained features such as the integrated USB 2.0 hub so now you can reduce the number of adapters and cables in your imaging setup with the integrated design. This integration reduces complexity and saves space and money.
The ASI183GT and ASI1600GT monochrome CMOS cameras both offer the same outstanding performance of the ASI183 and ASI1600 cooled monochrome cameras.
The internal 5-position Electronic Filter Wheel (EFW) can accept both 1.25" and 31 mm filters. The EFW is driven by a whisper-quiet high grade stepper motor.Important Note: The thickness of the 1.25" filter cannot exceed 7 mm (without threads), and the thread must be shorter than 2.5 mm to avoid the filter wheel striking the camera housing.
The body of the EFW is CNC milled from an aircraft-grade aluminum block finished in an attractive and hard-wearing anodized finish. The inner surface of the EFW has been specially treated to prevent internal light reflections.
The camera body has 24 heat radiating grooves fitted with dual maglev fans to ensure the temperature difference before and after cooling remains between 40-45℃ below ambient temperature (Tested at 30℃). The lower the ambient temperature is, the lower the delta-T will be.

ASI1600MM Pro Details
The ASI1600 Pro offers very good performance for astrophotography. The camera features low read noise, low dark current and high dynamic range. The ASI1600's built-in 12-bit ADC provides 12 stops of dynamic range, which is even better than KAF8300 due to its super-low read noise. The Panasonic MN34230 sensor is the same size as the 8300 sensor, but it sports twice the megapixels and has a 30% QE!
DDR Memory Buffer
The DDR memory buffer is the main difference between ASI "Cool" and "Pro" cameras. The ASI1600 Pro camera includes a 256MB DDR3 memory buffer to help improve data transfer reliability. The use of a memory buffer minimizes amp-glow, which is caused by the slow transfer speeds when the camera is used with a USB 2.0 port.

USB 3.0 Port: Provides 5 GB bandwidth to make it possible for the ASI1600 Pro to run at 14.7 fps (12-bit, normal mode) or 23 fps (10-bit, high speed mode) at full resolution (16 MP).
USB 2.0 HUB: Connects with various accessories including a filter wheel, guide camera or electronic focuser, allowing you to manage your cables better. There are two short 0.5 m USB 2.0 cables included with the ASI1600 Pro. The hub is powered by the external 12V 5A cooler power supply (optional).
